Scotland is the country in the north of  England, it is a part of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).    
  Scotland is divided into three natural regions: the Southern Uplands, the Central Lowlands and the Highlands and islands.
   Scottish people are called Scots. Scots people are British, because Scotland is part of Britain, but don’t call them English! Scots and the English are different. 
Kilt is the national costume in Scotland.   
Everyone knows  the legendary lake Loch-Ness with its  prehistoric Loch Ness Monster. “Nessie” is said to be about six meter long, with a long thin neck.
